The TWU has received several calls complaining about trucks with oversize loads heading north after dark. Oversize loads are banned on our roads as soon as the sun hits the horizon and those cheating the system risk heavy penalties. And they deserve them, because what they are doing is BLOODY DANGEROUS.

We have had reports of trucks carting large transportable accommodation units up north after 9pm at night.

One road-train driver told us the load on one of these vehicles had scraped down the side of his triple road-train.

"These bastards have got to wake up before they kill some poor bugger," said the pissed off truckie.
"There are some other dickheads carting oversize loads of plate steel. One of them missed me by a pubic hair. It really is hairy stuff."

Cowboy sightings have been made on the Great Northern Highway and also the North West Coastal Highway.

These fools definitely need to be DOBBED IN.
