The discount is calculated at 10% on normal prices and covers all service fees, all goods provided and all sundry disbursements relating to the funeral.

The discount applies where the deceased person was a member of the Union or where the deceased person is related to a member (spouse, de facto partner, child, step child, grandchild, parent, parent in law, step parent, siblings, siblings in law and grandparents).
The credit terms for adult (from age 17) funerals is an initial deposit of 25% of the total estimated cost payable prior to the funeral with the balance payable within 21 days from the date of the funeral.
The fees for children's funerals are heavily discounted and for this reason full payment is required prior to the funeral.
The provision of credit is subject to normal credit application screening procedures.
A 10% discount is also available for prepaid funerals purchased under our Fixed Price Funeral Plan.
