TWU Membership is fantastic value.

The TWU constantly fights for and WINS higher take home pay and better working conditions for its members. We also PROTECT YOUR JOB and if you are ever unfairly sacked our organisers, industrial officers and lawyers will take up your case.

We are the national voice of transport workers and WE STICK UP FOR YOU – and demand that employers treat you with respect.

If you are ever hauled over the coals by a manager, we will be by your side if you need us.
For those important things alone TWU membership is worth far more than the $9.82 per week that you will pay in membership fees in 2013. That’s about half the price of a packet of smokes.

And we look after you in many other ways. For example, we have just increased our Funeral Benefit to $5,000 (see details in the Summer 2013 edition of The Wheel).

The TWU provides more membership services than most other unions for less cost.
Until know we have managed to deliver a high standard of service to our members with limited staff numbers.

However the growing demands on your union have created a need for several new staff to service members.

In 2013 our fees will increase to $9.83 per week. $261.00 half yearly and $499.95 for the full year.

If you would prefer to pay your fees in smaller instalments IT IS EASY TO SWITCH TO DIRECT DEBIT. Just give us a call on 9328 74 77 and we’ll send you a simple form to complete.

REMINDER: You can claim all union fees as a TAX DEDUCTION.
