  Am I Being Underpaid?

I drive for a living – am I being underpaid?

The TWU has enterprise bargaining agreements (EBA’s) with most transport firms in WA. We set the pay and conditions standards for transport workers throughout Australia

The pay rates listed below are examples of the 2007 EBA rates being paid – at most unionised firms.

The pay rates and conditions included in our agreements are significantly greater than those in our awards, which are also listed on this website.

These days, awards are little more than minimum standards – thanks to John Howard and his government.

Even worse are the lousy Australian Workplace Agreements Howard has imposed upon Australian workers. AWA’s conditions generally rip off workers conditions and pay less overall.

WA firms paying the right rates include: CCS, Hindles, Toll, Patricks, Skippers, Ridolfo’s, Linfox, Fremantle Freight & Storage, Bullocks, Stevensons, CTI, FCL, K&S, Sadliers, P&O, SCT, Mainfreight, Temples – just to name a few.

Pay Rates: The following EBA rates are for ordinary hours, after which overtime clocks in. Rates vary a little from company to company but these are indicative of what is being paid under our EBA’s.
